Brief Introduction
The desiccant air dryer achieve the drying effect by "pressure change" (pressure change desiccant principle). Since the air's ability to hold water vapor is inversely proportional to the pressure, a portion of the dried air (called regeneration gas) is decompressed and expanded to high pressure. This pressure change causes the expanded air to become drier and then flows through the unconnected air stream. The desiccant layer to be regenerated (ie, the drying tower that has absorbed enough water vapor), the dried regeneration gas sucks out the moisture in the desiccant and takes it out of the dryer to achieve the purpose of dehumidification. The two towers work cyclically, eliminating the need for a heat source and continuously providing dry compressed air to the user's gas system.
